Spider® IV guitar amplifiers redefine what is sonically possible from modeling amplifiers. Feast your ears on the sophisticated touch response, complex distortions, and tube-style compression of the most advanced Line 6 amp modeling to date.
Inspired by the sounds of immortal American, British and European amplifiers, (and inspired by the features that made Spider III amplifiers the #1-selling guitar amps in the country*) Spider IV amps grant you unlimited access to sparkling clean tones, rich mid-range tones on the verge of breakup, high-gain metal mayhem and more. Plus you get stunning presets, juicy effects and the unparalleled flexibility that made Line 6 famous.
The critics are raving…
“…the song presets alone are a ton of fun and would probably be enough for many players without any ability to program. For the pro player, the Spider IV 75 is a darn good little unit with a zillion sounds at a stupid low price. Sixty-four user slots to write your own sounds into should be more than enough for anyone. Did I mention you can also use FBV Mk II pedals to download future firmware upgrades for your Spider IV? To an old analog guy, all this seems like a miracle.” (Spider IV 75)
Pat Smith, GuitarEdge.com, November 2009
“Great Tones. Authentic Feel. Light weight. Priced Right.”
Simon Bradley, MusicRadar.com, October 2009 (Spider IV 75)
“Based on what I found during my time with the Spider IV 75, these amps offer a tremendous combination of flexibility, power, value, and tone. They’re perfect for a cover-band situation where you need a variety of sounds, or for finding your own signature sound. Compact, lightweight, and comprehensive — you can’t go wrong!” (Spider IV 75) Mitch Gallagher, http://guitarsandgear.sweetwater.com/, October 2009
“The people at Line 6 have made a name for themselves exhibiting products that feature amp modeling technology ranging from audio interfaces to hardware amplifiers. The successful line of Spider III amplifiers have given Line 6 enough juice to cater for more innovation, fresh features, and updates. This thrust has led to its latest line of modeling amplifiers, the Line 6 Spider IV.” (Spider IV Line)
gearwire.com, August 2009
“Bottom Line — this is a killer amp. There are just too many things to like about the Spider IV. It’s got great tone, a ton of options and the ability to be loud enough to make your chest pound. What else could you ask for in an amp?”
G-v Rover, gear-vault.com, October 2009
Over 50 of today’s hottest guitarists and bands hand-crafted more than 300 presets for Spider IV 75, 120, 150 and HD150.

Aerosmith Regretfully Announce Cancellation of Remainder of Summer Tour
It is with great regret that AEROSMITH are canceling the remainder of their summer tour, it was announced today.
Due to injuries STEVEN TYLER sustained last week when he fell from the stage during a concert in Sturgis, SD, doctors have advised the lead singer to take the time to properly recuperate from the accident that resulted in a broken shoulder and stitches to his head. In his current condition, TYLER is unable to tour and the band wants to give him time to get healthy.
Ticket refunds for the rest of the tour dates with special guests ZZ Top will be available at point of purchase.
TYLER fell from the stage during the August 5 show that was part of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Western South Dakota. The mishap occurred while he was dancing during the band’s “Love in an Elevator.” TYLER was subsequently airlifted to a hospital and then returned to Boston to consult with his own doctors.
AEROSMITH–STEVEN TYLER (vocals), JOE PERRY (guitar), BRAD WHITFORD (guitar), TOM HAMILTON (bass) and JOEY KRAMER (drums)–want to thank all their fans for their incredible ongoing support and understanding at this time.
“Words can’t express the sadness I feel for having to cancel this tour,” says JOE PERRY. “I would like to thank our loyal fans for sticking by us through thick and thin and all the good energy they are sending our way. We hope we can get the Aerosmith machine up and running again as soon as possible. I sure am going to miss playing with ZZ Top just as I’m sure the fans are going to miss seeing them playing with us as well. Hope to see you sooner than later.” JOE adds, ” My hat’s off to our crew for putting up with this crazy stop and start tour. In my estimation, it was one of the best looking and best run tours we’ve ever had. Us road dawgs will meet again. May your wheels keep turning and your load in’s stay smooth.”
“All of us here in the AEROSMITH organization and all of the people who contribute to making our shows possible are in a state of shock,”
BRAD WHITFORD says. “We never anticipated this tour coming to such a swift and unfortunate ending. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Steven for a speedy recovery and return to good health.”
